No strings attached
Adam (Ashton Kutcher) has just been dumped by his girlfriend and the icing on the cake is that she’s now sleeping with his dad. Depressed and lonely, Adam gets drunk and decides to call every girl in his phone until someone agrees to sleep with him.
The next morning, he wakes up in Emma’s (Natalie Portman) apartment and they decide to start a no-strings-attached relationship; no jealousy, no fights, no love. At first, the booty calls seem to be working but everything gets a little more complicated once they spend the night together, without having sex.
She goes with him on a double-date with his dad and ex-girlfriend, he asks her on a date for Valentine’s Day. Then Emma thinks this is all getting a little bit too intimate, so they break up before, as Adam points out, they even start.
The ending to this romantic comedy is obvious from the start but the doesn’t stop it from being interesting, funny and incredibly sexy- although that is possibly the large amounts of screen time dedicated to Ashton Kutcher sans clothes.
