I’m a writer and journalist, based in the UK. In 2016, I decided to take the leap to become a freelancer in order to have more freedom to pursue projects that I love.
My favourite topics to tackle are:
- pop culture
- the environment
- animal rights
- LGBT rights
- social justice
You can find related pieces on this blog via the Categories Cloud in the right side-bar.
Over the past ten years, I have written for several local papers and magazines as well as national and international news sites.
In 2016, I began working with the Iranian Resistance to promote human rights in Iran, and I edited a book on activism in the digital age, called Slacktivist.
I have a First-Class BA (Hons) in Journalism with NCTJ accreditation from Edge Hill University.
In my spare time, I can often be found reading, looking at expensive flights to Canada and Japan or working on my short fiction.
Three things you should know about me:
- I worked in Disney World
- Barack Obama (yes, that one) follows me on Twitter
- My cat eats better than I do.
I’m always on the look out for new writing opportunities so if you think we’d work well together, please get in touch.
